The Boulder Pharmacy is the longest continuing business in Boulder, having been opened in February 1897 at its original location at 25 Piesse Street.

There is a museum display on the eastern wall and the business is one of very few in Australia that combines an active pharmacy with a museum.

Manicare and Lady Jane accessories back up the Collection 2000 Budget Cosmetics and a variety of perfumes and gift packs. In hair preparations there are Fudge and Loreal, to name just a few.

Economical, next day photographic developing includes numerous options for reduced print, enlargements, "free film" options and CD copies giving you the complete photographic experience. Select from a wide range of cameras, keenly priced film and batteries, and film development from $7.95.

Everyone is catered for, from newborn to elderly. The comprehensive Dream Baby, Bebelle and Nuk ranges of baby products surrounds a child's slide and play area with the more regular baby and toddler needs nearby. You can shop at leisure while your child plays.

Enduring the harsh Goldfields climate is helped by a wide range of moisturizers and specialties made in the pharmacy for dry, scaling, peeling skin and various types of skin rashes. Products no longer made are available here such as Rexona Ointment, Watkins Menthol Camphor Ointment, Iodex, Nixoderm, Eskamel, Woodwards Gripe Water and TCP.

Computer recording of prescriptions allows for rapid recall of receipts, copies and prescription lists for the convenience of patients under medical insurance worker's compensation taxation requirements and those leaving the area.

Typed notes accompany the oral advice given by the pharmacy staff on both prescription and non-prescription medication. Worker's compensation prescriptions are charged directly to the insurance company concerned. Mail or email orders are rapidly dispatched.
