The Boulder Pharmacy is the longest continuing business in Boulder, having been opened in February 1897 at its original location at 25 Piesse Street. Computer recording of prescriptions allows for rapid recall of receipts, copies and prescription lists for the convenience of patients under medical insurance worker's compensation taxation requirements and those leaving the area. Typed notes accompany the oral advice given by the pharmacy staff on both prescription and non-prescription medication.
